| The Company: The
purpose of Smart Tread is saving lives and preventing injury
in vehicle accidents by improving traffic safety on public roadways.
There is no single large investor or company in the background
or in the Smart Tread ownership. Rather, the company is held
by the Safe and Sound Trust, five founding members and a group
of like-minded individuals.
The Mission: Smart Tread has undertaken
a mission to improve traffic safety by helping to remove dangerously
worn tires from our public roadways. Smart Tread teamed with
the Safe and Sound Trust to launch the National Safe Tire
Coalition.
